First thing I gotta say is the metal feel is amazing considering I never heard yottamastrr brand before but I will tell you now it's meterial feels like if you drop it by accidents it won't broke at all. Second is how sexy the looks is and third the price is bit high but the high quality is there.
I was hesitant to purchase this enclosure because I'm not familiar with the manufacturer-Yottamaster, but over all I'm pretty satisfied. That it's a great enclosure.
Yottamaster does it again! I had a single usb 3.0 Yottamaster, so I decided to give it a try. These have so far held up and have helped me transfer 4 by 6TB worth of data across into another machine for archival purpose. Running another for a jbod diy nas. So far so good, very fast response time, so even in USB, you have high availability...
This is great. I'm using it to mine Burstcoin so its being used alot and it holds up. I've got 2 10tb drives running 24/7 and the Yottamaster keeps them cool and quiet. This case is gonna pay for itself.
After literally 50+ other enclosures used, I got one of these on sale and can say without a doubt, this is the nicest enclosure I have ever used. They are built extremely well, completely out of metal and the drive actually contacts the metal body for optimal heat transfer. It includes dampening pads, should you have a noisy drive and had about the same over the top build quality of an original Mac Pro. Highly recommend.
I have two 8TB and three 10TB drives in my yottamaster. I'm using Stablebit Drive pool to make one 46TB drive and Stablebit Scanner reads the drives without errors. I will definitely be buying more of these. It's a good product for the price.
