Yottamaster Hypercube 4K 60Hz HDMI Switcher Splitter with IR Remote Control

I needed a 5 port HDMI switch and this one fit the bill. It is compact and well built, and has a responsive IR remote control. It does not have an IR extender input to bring the remote control signal to the switch, but in my application the switch is reasonably close to the IR repeater from the TV, and the "change input" signal rarely fails to function.My TV has multiple HDMI inputs, but my peripherals are in a closet isolated from the TV. It was much easier to run one HDMI cable through the walls to the TV and put an input switch on that cable - instead of running 5 HDMI cables and using the TV's input switch. This switch does not degrade the picture at all (to a 4K 60 Hz TV).As I write this, the description talks about all inputs being on one side of the box, but that is not true, at least not for the 5 in/1 out switch. 4 inputs are on one long side, the 5th input is on one short side, and the output is on the other short side. This is my only complaint with this box as it's a bit gawky to have HDMI cables coming out from 3 sides. I wish they had made the box longer to accommodate the 5 inputs and one output all along one side - but I'm not going to deduct a star for that, as it does what it does well.

... We win because we ended up getting Roku some months ago and needed an easy way to connect the Blu-ray the Roku and other devices. The HDMI switch definitely has helped and my husband was able to easily figure out how to connect everything to it. To be honest, there's not a lot to it once you are not afraid to hook it up and actually use it. There were suspicions of you know what kind of chips are in these Is it reading anything extra and broadcasting out information etc. However, that is something we will probably never really know. As with Echo Dots and other things it is definitely a convenience product.

It has 3 inputs and was easy to hook up. You can switch between your TV and three HDMI devices such as a computer, game console, or any device that uses HDMI. The remote is small and works easily. The switching is fast and the picture excellent. Quality seems very good and price seems very reasonable. Easy to recommend this.

I work from home for 4 days. Due to area constraints, I can only put one 32-inch monitor in my workroom. I am sharing the monitor between my work laptop, my personal laptop, and my personal desktop. This HDMI splitter addresses my need to share one monitor with three computers. If only one computer is on, it automatically selects that computer. If all 3 computers are one, I can easily switch among computers with one press of the device. So far, it has worked great without any glitches.The included remote control is quite handy. So, I don't need to reach the back of my desk to make the switching.
