Not bad and as far as I can tell ZERO LEDs, this is a great design! Its quiet and seems to have worked right out of the box. Haven't done much speed testing but it had no issues with my transplanted disks.

Almost a 5, can't do software raids. I wanted to do some stripes. Everything else is great.

Works as advertised, with the benefit of the drives going to sleep of not used for a while. The door does not hinge properly, but can live with the relatively haphazard design, as it will not be frequently opened in my use case. Fan does not quiet down when unit is in standby. Fan noise is higher than that of a Synology NAS or conventional laptop.

I just received this, so only time will tell about longevity.I had 5 separate external drives in separate boxes with 5 power supplies, and 5 USB ports. This box made it 1 power supply and 1 USB port. Also, the fan in the box is a plus and truly quiet.My drives had files on them and they were all still there and each drive is identifiable as they were before. This is not a RAID box, so did not have to deal with that. I do want to caution folks that this is a SATA - ONLY box. There is no option for IDE drives. Fortunately, all of my drives are SATA.It took as much time as it takes to remove 5 drives from their boxes and install them onto the shelves in this one - maybe 5 minutes per drive. You do need to screw the drives onto the shelves to assure that the drives mate with the connectors at the back of the box.
